Securing a WLAN for Home/Small Office: Skills Assessment
At some point in time defined by the instructor’s judgment, after several repetitions, the students must be able to perform the following operations on their own without aid:
Set up a wireless router.
Perform the basic securing process for Windows XP clients.
Articulate the the concept(s) behind each option and recognize them despite the names or conventions followed by different manufacturers.
Set up a VPN running Windows XP.
Optionally, set up a VPN running a Windows Server and Linux running SmoothWall.
