Daniel
L. Spencer serves as Department Chair/Instructor for the Medical
Laboratory Technology Department at Tyler Junior College. His
background includes 23 years of combined experience in the
fields of clinical laboratory science and higher education.
His experience includes activity at the local, state, and national
levels. Career pursuits have created opportunities for him
to be involved in work focusing on issues of developmental
education, medical education, quality assurance, safety policy,
curriculum development, professional development, leadership
development and educational technology. He is an advocate of
the community college system and continues to stay abreast
and adapt to changes in education through his own pursuit of
life long learning.
