Graphing With Ordered Pairs Activity - Where's the Point?
The following Graphing With Ordered Pairs Activity is provided for instructors to use in their classroom or online and for students to complete individually or collaboratively. In part I students are asked to find the coordinates of the indicated point on the coordinate plane. To ensure a complete understanding of graphing ordered pairs on the coordinate plane students are asked in part II to find the letter of the corresponding point. In part III, students are reminded of the vocabulary addressed in the lecture notes class activity pertaining to quadrants and axes.
Assessment for this activity can be completed by requiring students turn in their completed work and allowing the instructor to grade their answers to each question. A Graphing With Ordered Pairs Activity Key is provided.
Please note that this activity is a modified version of a worksheet on Linear Equations and Inequalities by Instructional Fair, Inc.
